What’s our focus?
It started with the potential PNM Merger with Avangrid. We were skeptical this would be good for New Mexicans given their customer service history. We organized with other grassroots groups and were able to stop the merger by making sure the PRC was fully informed. WE, THE PEOPLE have the power!
We need your help.
Now we are faced with a scary situation—Blackstone, a private equity firm with no experience in managing public utilities, and with a pure profit motive is slated to take PNM over and our state authorities seem to be totally ok with this. We must stop it. Public pressure has stopped this kind of action before, and we need to get busy again.
